Let us explain why the Original RHMS East Coast Trip is the best!

This trip is the original East Coast trip experience that was first offered at our school in 1976. The trip leaders have been very selective in choosing successors and chaperones over the years, resulting successful trips for 40 years. 

For the 2025 trip, our East Coast Trip took ninety four students and six staff chaperones. Two full buses!

After having chaperoned with the Original Trip a few times and wanting to chaperone again, the trip leader for the other trip decided to start a competing East Coast trip.

In one instance, the other trip has allowed students to ride electric scooters unsupervised. 

For the 2025 trip: 

The other trip took students from a different school on the same trip. 

This trip was also chaperoned by two related teachers and two of their adult children.

For the 2024 trip:

After not meeting the minimum student participants, the other trip had to cancel their original plans, taking the eight students who signed up and joining the itinerary of an unknown school from another city. 

The trip was planned to be two days shorter, removing Gettysburg and Philly from the itinerary, while still costing $500 more.
